Duran Duran (prononcé /djʊˌræn djʊˈræn/) est un groupe new wave britannique, originaire de Birmingham. Il fait partie un temps de la vague Nouveaux Romantiques associée à la new wave des années 1980. Le groupe est formé en 1978 par Nick Rhodes (claviers) et John Taylor (basse).

Duran Duran (/ djʊˌræn djʊˈræn /) are an English pop rock band formed in Birmingham in 1978 by singer Stephen Duffy, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and guitarist/bassist John Taylor. After several early changes, the band's line-up settled in May 1980 as Rhodes, Taylor, singer Simon Le Bon, guitarist Andy Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor. [nb 1]

30 août 2023 · Duran Duran have announced their 16th studio album: Danse Macabre, in time for this year’s Halloween. The record is due for release on October 27 on Tape Modern via BMG and available to pre-order HERE.
In 2015, Duran Duran will cement their place in that illustrious grouping with a new studio album – their 14th, no less – that burnishes their role in the story of pop, and puts the many young pretenders whose music they have influenced firmly in their place.
