  1. 18 févr. 2023 · The harness that comes from the engine bay splits and both go to the brake. I assumed the frayed harness was the pad sensor because of the brake light and low pad warning. I connected the wires coming from the engine bay (bypassing the brake pad) and the brake light is off.

  6. 29 juil. 2008 · it has a lobe with a little bump that keeps it in a certain position. pull the plastic lobe back slightly, and a 90 degree turn later, the conenctor for the brake sensor wire is released from it's bracket and disconnected easily. as for reconnecting, it's exactly the reverse of above.
