Some countries may not observe daylight saving time (DST), whereas other countries may change the start dates and end dates for daylight saving time every year. This article describes how to update Windows to use the latest DST and global time zone rules.
11 mai 2016 · By default, Microsoft Windows assumes that the date/time stored in the CMOS clock is in local time. Because the default date/time is in local time, the CMOS clock must be adjusted periodically to account for transitions between DST and standard time when DST is applicable for a given time-zone configuration.
13 mars 2024 · If you set the Value Data to 0, the option “Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time” will be checked. You can deploy the registry changes using startup script or via group policy preferences.
3 août 2014 · Click on Change Time Zone and you will see the check box for Automatically adjust daylight saving time. Incidentally in Windows 7 if it is of any use you can set an additional two clocks with different time zones.
