Sanjay Khan (born as Shah Abbas Ali Khan Tanoli, 3 January 1941) is an Indian actor, producer and director known for his works in Hindi films and television. Sanjay Khan made his debut in Chetan Anand's 1964 film Haqeeqat, followed by the Rajshri film Dosti, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for that year.
Sanjay Khan met with a horrifying accident on the sets of ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’ (8 February 1990) when the studio caught fire. He had got 62% burn injuries and was in a coma for two months. He was hospitalized for 18 months while he went through 72 surgeries.
