Mickey Dale Beebe (/ ˈ b iː b i /; born December 28, 1946) is an American politician and attorney who served as the 45th governor of Arkansas from 2007 to 2015. He remains the last member of the Democratic Party to serve as Governor of Arkansas .

Beebe earned a B.A. in political science from Arkansas State University and a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Additionally, he served in the United States Army Reserves. Beebe began practicing law in Searcy in 1972 and was named the Outstanding Trial Lawyer in Arkansas in 1981.
