Kazumi Watanabe (Japanese: 渡辺 香津美, Hepburn: Watanabe Kazumi, born October 14, 1953 in Tokyo) is a Japanese guitarist. Other guitarists such as Luke Takamura and Sugizo have cited him as an influence.

Kazumi Watanabe is currently guest professor at the jazz course of Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. He has received the prestigious Fumio Nanri Award in 1991, Music Pen Club Award, “The Best Popular Album of the Year 2016“ for the album “ Guitar is Beautiful -KW45” (Warner Music Japan).
Kazumi is a well-known film music guitarist, performing and composing theme music and music for important scenes. Kazumi Watanabe currently teaches jazz at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. In 1991, he was awarded the Fumio Nanri Prize.
