Cozy Powell. Emerson, Lake & Powell, sometimes abbreviated as ELP, were an English progressive rock band, considered by many as a variant lineup of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, that released one official studio album in 1986. [1]
En 1979 sort un premier album libellé Cozy Powell, Over the Top. Trois autres suivent, en 1981, 1983 et 1992. Entretemps, il est choisi par Keith Emerson et Greg Lake pour former le groupe Emerson, Lake & Powell, en l'absence de Carl Palmer, trop occupé par son propre groupe Asia.
Cozy Powell (born Colin Trevor Flooks; 29 December 1947 – 5 April 1998) was an English drummer who made his name with major rock bands and artists such as The Jeff Beck Group, Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Gary Moore, Graham Bonnet, Brian May, Whitesnake, Emerson, Lake & Powell, and Black Sabbath.

31 janv. 2004 · Emerson, Lake & (Cozy) Powell plays a very good songs with great tons of Emerson's self indulgent parts but without true Prog style. In fact the music is more close to AOR than Prog but it is true that 'Emerson Lake & Powell' is a great album for 80's.
