This anthology shows what a great writer Joe South was but also how well he can put a song across in his very different way. He isn't the greatest voice, but like Dylan, he makes what he has work when presenting his work.
"Mirror Of Your Mind" is the very best work of art on this compilation. other interesting songs include "Save the Best", "All My Hard Times", "the Greatest Love", "Don't It Make you wanna Go Home?", "Games People Play", "High On a Hill Top", "Hush", a song mostly remembered as a Deep Purple song.
