15 sept. 2023 · Air Canada Tango was a budget subsidiary of Air Canada that operated from 2001 to 2004. It flew to domestic and holiday destinations with Airbus A320s and Boeing 737s, and influenced the mainline's low-fare products.

3 août 2023 · Tango was a new brand offered by Air Canada and was the carrier’s attempt to offer a no-frills product for budget-conscious travelers. The company had already been struggling prior to the September 11th attacks, and the events of that tragic day only reinforced the need to reduce costs.
An A320 first delivered to Canadian Airlines International May 13, 1992, it was merged into Air Canada's fleet November 2001. This short lived Tango color scheme was a low fare promotion that became a Tango low fare ticket and the aircraft later returned to main line colors.
