If you are looking to download other people's VODs- that I'm not sure. I use a program called 4K Video Downloader to download YouTube videos and Twitch Clips, but not totally sure whether or not it would work on full length Twitch VODs.
Not letting me download twitch (desktop version) Ivve been watching videos all morning and still not able to find out how to download the twitch app on my pc. Its only giving me to option to download the iOS or Android version NO WINDOWS! Can anyone give me some useful advice. The Twitch desktop app was discontinued a few years ago.

When I go to the website and click download, I get sent to this site: https://app.twitch.tv/download. On this site nothing happens automatically nor is there a button too press or anything.

19 janv. 2020 · I don't download, but I know when highlighting and exporting it can take forever to work. The other day I was trying to make a 20 minute highlight, it took 30 minutes just to process and an hour to export to YouTube. It feels completely random when it slows down, because I was trying to do that at midnight
19 sept. 2022 · Sometimes the Download option hangs or just never goes through. It’s likely a bug on Twitch but could be affected by any number of things like your general internet connection, adblockers, browser extensions acting up, VPNs, etc. You could put in a ticket with Twitch if it doesn’t eventually start working.
Note: With the release of the Twitch site rewrite comes the release of FrankerFaceZ v4, a complete re-write of the extension built from the ground up to be more flexible and powerful than ever. Regrettably, the timing of Twitch's rewrite has forced them to switch to v4 earlier than they would like and there are gobs of missing features, but they’re working on it.
First, download OBS, this is the application that this guide is based off of, and while allow you to broad cast your stream to your twitch channel. Second, download "CLR Browser", this is important to providing your channel with Alerts and other similar add-ons for notifications.
There is no Twitch desktop app. There is no Twitch desktop app these days. Not that it was needed to enable streaming. You can stream through OBS. Twitch got rid of their desktop app in 2022. You don't need an app. OBS is what most people use to stream to twitch. Many tutorials in the wiki and on YouTube.
