The scene at the end on Halloween is like a masterclass in conveying a million thoughts with just a few facial expressions and incredibly subtle body language. And acting against a pig mask or not, he delivers one of the hottest first kisses in cinema history. It was utterly beautiful and so perfectly done.
James McAvoy on the future of his Professor X. Rewatching Split (2016) how James McAvoy didn’t win an Oscar (he wasn’t even nominated!) is beyond me. Edit: To clarify, I don’t really mean the Oscar part literally. I just personally really enjoy this performance, that’s all. Personally, I love this movie.

Then they’ll make a disappointing sequel afterward called Aliens or Demons that throws away all the cool shit they could have done. I don't usually even complain about remakes but in this case I really don't see the movie working in a American context.

It doesn't feel like he is acting, it feels like he just breathes the character he plays. He is such a rare talent. He was amazing in Split obviously but his acting in a movie called Filth is one of the best acting I have ever seen.
