8 juin 2023 · Jun 8, 2023. #2. In my experience the Libre "estimated' HBA1c is consistently inaccurate. On the couple of occasions I compared them, Libre has report 10 less than my blood test. It is probably a useful measure to track progress but do not consider it to be the same as the true blood HBA1C. Last edited: Jun 8, 2023.

I only very very rarely get the ‘try again in 10 minutes’ message, and then most often when my BG is rapidly changing direction and the sensor gets a bit freaked out and wants to check itself. I’ve been using Libre off and on since 2014, and used them pretty regularly for a couple of years.

25 mai 2023 · The Dexcom reliability has been better - but not perfect and the readings are closer, but still up to 2 mmol/L above. As with Libre the trend arrows are fine. Libre 2 requires you to scan every time you want a reading; unless you add an unofficial app, such as Diabox (android).

The first couple of sensors seemed to have good connectivity but the recent couple frequently lose connection, most recently at 4am this morning after waking us with ah hypo alert! 27 déc. 2022 · At all times the results remained the same. The higher my levels the greater the discrepancy. This is particularly dangerous, especially for new users, as relying on the Libre 2 readings could result in an overdose of insulin and lead to a severe hypo! I contacted Freestyle and my diabetes team.

Oct 2020 HbA1c 48 Cholesterol 4.8 Swapped Novorapid for Fiasp Jun 2021 HbA1c 52 Cholesterol 4.5 despite LCHF way of eating Feb 2022 HbA1c 51 Cholesterol up a bit to 4.9 Refused statins at this time. Aug 2022 HbA1c 45 Cholesterol down to 4.2 despite high saturated fat intake and no statins.
