27 avr. 2022 · Dirty Harry made this gun a celebrity. Supposedly throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, anytime the movie re-ran on TV, it would drive sales of the firearm. At the very beginning of the film, the shootout solidified the firearm in the American mind.
It remained primarily the province of some handgun enthusiasts, law enforcement personnel, and hunters until 1971, when Clint Eastwood made it famous as "the most powerful handgun in the world" in the movie Dirty Harry.
