Sonya Yoncheva returns to the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, presenting for the first time on the legendary London stage her acclaimed portrayal of Tosca. The performances on July 14, 17 and 21 also feature Yusif Eyvazov and Aleksei Isaev in the other leading roles and are conducted by Andrea Battistoni.
On April 20 at 8pm, Sonya Yoncheva and Malcolm Martineau will present Ad una Stella at the Berliner Philharmonie. The recital programme includes music by Henri Duparc, Pauline Viardot, Ernest Chausson, Léo Delibes, Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Martucci, Paolo Tosti and Giuseppe Verdi.
Sonya Yoncheva is back at the Metropolitan Opera to star in a new production of Fedora, singing the title role. David McVicar’s staging is led by Marco Armiliato and is set to open on New Year’s Eve.
