29 juin 2018 · Saw Sicario 2 at the weekend with a friend for an unplanned Cinema trip. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be buying on 4k when released. Not an original story line but done very well. Think I prefer it to the original but will need to watch it again to make sure and it’s definitely screaming out for a third.

As far as sharpness/clarity and cinematography go, yes. However it has a slightly raised black floor and some odd posterization in shadows coming out of black, visible on both W-OLED and QD-OLED, which make it not the best demo material at least on those panel types.

Nothing unusual about theses awards,same as it ever was,a lot of back slapping and people using the the awards to put forward their political statement that are in the headlines at the moment. Nothing to do with best film,actor etc.
