Gretchen Parlato (born February 11, 1976) is an American jazz singer. She has performed and recorded with musicians such as Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Kenny Barron, Esperanza Spalding, Terence Blanchard, Marcus Miller and Lionel Loueke.
Gretchen Parlato is a Los Angeles-based jazz artist who has been nominated for six Grammy Awards and won the Thelonious Monk Jazz Vocals Competition. Her latest album, Lean In, is a duo project with Lionel Loueke that explores themes of connection, inspiration and love.
