Tito Puente (de son vrai nom Ernesto Antonio Puente Jr.) (né à New York le 20 avril 1923 et mort à New York le 1 er juin 2000) est un musicien portoricain très populaire et prolifique (plus de cent albums) de musique latine. Il est surnommé « El Rey Del Timbal » (le roi des timbales).

His bravura showmanship and string of mambo dance hits in the 1950s earned him the nickname ‘King of Mambo.’ His notable songs included ‘Babarabatiri,’ ‘Ran Kan Kan,’ and ‘Oye Como Va.’
