Merry Clayton (born December 25, 1948) is an American soul and gospel singer. She contributed vocals to numerous tracks and worked with many major recording artists for decades, including a duet with Mick Jagger on the Rolling Stones song "Gimme Shelter".
Merry Clayton, née le 25 décembre 1948, est une chanteuse afro-américaine de soul et de gospel et une actrice. Elle fait également de nombreuses contributions comme choriste pour plusieurs artistes à partir des années 1960, notamment avec les Rolling Stones 1 sur la chanson Gimme Shelter 2 de l'album Let It Bleed 3 en 1969.
