Compositeur pacifiste En 2004, il rend hommage au célébrissime opéra de Bizet en proposant Karmen de Goran Bregovic, avec une fin heureuse. Une réadaptation très personnelle et osée mais peu surprenante car, après tout, quelle autre héroïne classique porte davantage en elle la notion de liberté et d'insoumission aux bonnes moeurs ?
