Alâeddin Ali Bey or Shehzade Alâeddin Ali (later known as Alâeddin Ali Pasha) was born in Söğüt, as the son of Osman Ghazi and his wife Bala Hatun and was the husband of Gonca Hatun, the daughter of Yakup Bey of the Germiyanids. He was the first member of the dynasty to use the title of Pasha.
