28 juil. 2020 · The title track opens Have A Good Time…But Get Out Alive, the song hitting the door like a S.W.A.T. team’s battering ram. An unbridled rocker with screaming guitars and a slight boogie-rock undercurrent, the band’s high-octane performance here sets the stage for the album to follow.
10 mars 2020 · The core of the band is the Incognito rhythm section, led by Bluey on guitar, Matt Cooper on keyboards and Francis Hylton on bass. For the second album in succession, they recorded at a studio in the idyllic setting of Krabi beach in southern Thailand.
Foley recorded a duet with Ian Hunter in 1980, "We Gotta Get Outta Here". Her creative relationship with Hunter led her to singing backing vocals on the Iron City Houserockers' 1980 album Have a Good Time but Get Out Alive!, produced by Hunter, Ronson, and The E Street Band's Steven Van Zandt.

But Defiance is very electric guitar rock, isn’t it? It’s a rock’n’roll album. It’s probably out of its time but that’s what it is.
