Portsmouth Abbey School is a coeducational Catholic, Benedictine boarding and day school for students in grades 9 to 12. Founded in 1926 by the English Benedictines, the school is located on a 525-acre campus in Portsmouth, along Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay.
The Portsmouth Abbey education is grounded in the Western intellectual tradition, from ancient Greece and Rome and continuing into this century. This liberal arts curriculum is balanced by a focus on spirituality, athletics, arts and co-curriculars.
With 43 teams to choose from, every student can find a place to shine. Being part of a team gives you the chance to build friendships, hone skills and earn leadership positions on campus.
