Booker T. Jones (né le 12 novembre 1944 à Memphis (Tennessee)) [1] est un multi-instrumentiste, arrangeur et producteur américain de musique soul. Musicien de studio, connu surtout comme claviériste (orgue électrique et piano), il est un des membres fondateurs du groupe Booker T. & the M.G.'s.

Booker Taliaferro Jones Jr. (born November 12, 1944) is an American musician, songwriter, record producer and arranger, best known as the frontman of the band Booker T. & the M.G.'s. He has also worked in the studios with many well-known artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, earning him a Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement.
On 'Chase The Buffalo', Pierce's third offering, the singer/songwriter is supported by a superb studio band that includes Jim Keltner and Booker T Jones. The record is dedicated to Mark Heard and kicks off with a rousing version of his "Not Over Coffee".
