8 août 2024 · Biography. Chris initially joined Savatage as a live musician, playing guitar and keyboards off-stage during their Hall of the Mountain King tour. He features in the line-up for Gutter Ballet as a member, even though he never played on that album, yet he performed on stage for the subsequent tour.
Christopher Caffery (born September 9, 1967) [1] is an American heavy metal guitarist, best known for his work as a member of Savatage and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Caffery has been releasing solo records singing and playing guitar for almost 20 years, releasing nine albums and many singles since 2004.
They meandered between basic metal and more commercial fare before adding second guitarist Chris Caffery and hitting their stride in 1990 with Gutter Ballet. The band showed a flair for intense, melodic hard rock, dramatic balladry, and elaborate, operatic concepts, which they pursued over their next few albums.
