This CD is the remastered four albums that Hoyt made for A&M Records. Sadly, the master tapes were lost in a fire in 2008 at Universal Studios where countless artists music was stored. This compilation was made in 1998 10 years before the fire.

Hoyt Wayne Axton (March 25, 1938 – October 26, 1999) was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor. He became prominent in the early 1960s, establishing himself on the West Coast as a folk singer with an earthy style and powerful voice.
