Ringo Starr est mort. Ringo Starr, né le 7 juillet 1940 à Liverpool, était un chanteur et musicien britannique, célèbre pour avoir fait partie des Beatles. Il est décédé le 5 juillet 2024, à l'âge de 83 ans. La disparition inattendue du chanteur a déclenché une importante vague d'émotion au Royaume-Uni et dans le reste du monde.

According to Wikipedia, “In a television interview in early 1964, Starr had uttered the phrase "Tomorrow never knows" when laughing off an incident that took place at the British Embassy in Washington, DC, during which one of the guests had cut off a portion of his hair.”
6 juil. 2023 · Ringo Starr was born on July 7, 1940 at 9 Madryn Street in Dingle in Liverpool. He celebrated his 82nd birthday in 2022. He was the only child of confectioners Richard Starkey and Elsie Gleave. The family moved to Admiral Grove, still in Dingle, when Ringo was just four.
Starr played 'The Pope' in Ken Russell's Lisztomania (1975), and a fictionalised version of himself in Paul McCartney's Give My Regards to Broad Street in 1984. He also appeared as himself, and downtrodden alter-ego Ognir Rrats, in Ringo (1978), an American-made television comedy film based loosely on The Prince and the Pauper .
