Check your email inbox for an email from us with the subject “Reset your password”. Click the link in the e-mail. Type your new password in New password.
12 mai 2024 · The new desktop login pulls-up the browser to fill your credentials and complete the process. If the browser is not popping-up, we'd recommend clearing cache or reinstalling your browser to make sure you're running the latest update. Also, make sure that Google Chrome is set as the default browser in your PC settings.

11 août 2020 · This stepped worked for me, try logging in with your EMAIL and not your username to login on Spotify. Where it says Login, put your email in and password. And see if that works. If that doesn't work I suggest you try a different browser or using incongnito mode. Also, try using a different device. Hope this helps.
16 juin 2023 · When I open the Spotify (Windows Desktop application), I no longer receive the login prompt (it had stopped working maybe 2-3 days ago); instead, I receive the prompt in the attached image, asking me to login through the browser. Login from the browser works, but I would prefer to login from the app and not always open a browser.
12 août 2020 · Hey there @Alastairward, Welcome to the Community! We recommend you perform a clean reinstall of the app. Just follow the steps in this support article. You can also check if the country settings on your account page match the country you're currently residing in. If they don't you most likely need to update them.
15 juin 2021 · I've added a family member (some years ago). Now, she can't login with her display name and we don't know which email address she is registered with, and I can't find it in the account setting for the family plan. Her user name has been set automatically to something like 20 random letters and is not user friendly, so it is useless.
