2 août 2013 · Michael Ansara, the actor who played the "Star Trek" Klingon commander Kang in the franchise's TV show, died on Wednesday, July 31. He was 91. The actor died in his home in Calabasas, Calif., after a longterm illness, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His former publicist confirmed the news on August 2.
