Billy Joe Shaver (August 16, 1939 – October 28, 2020) was an American singer, songwriter and actor. Billy Joe was a prominent figure in the outlaw country genre. He was considered one of the greatest american songwriter of his generation. He has received praise from Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferon and many others.
