De collectie bevat nagenoeg alleen de persoonlijke bibliotheek van de Gentse Nobelprijswinnaar literatuur van 1911, die bovendien bewaard wordt in het originele bibliotheekmeubilair van Maurice Maeterlincks werkkamer in zijn luxueuze - en behoorlijk overmaatse - villa Orlamonde in Nice.
