Kanda (神田) is a city district of Tokyo, northeast of the Tokyo Imperial Palace. It is not a prime tourist district but more of a typical local district with residential areas and numerous universities. Kanda has traditionally been an academic center and is therefore frequented by young people.
Kanda (神田?, littéralement « Le (ou les) champs divin(s) ») est un quartier situé dans l'arrondissement de Chiyoda (l'un des 23 arrondissements spéciaux de la Tokyo), entre le côté nord-est du parc du Palais impérial de Tokyo et le long de la rive sud de la rivière Kanda-gawa.
Kanda (神田) is an area in northeastern Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It encompasses about thirty neighborhoods. Kanda was a ward prior to 1947. When the 35 wards of Tokyo were reorganized into 23, it was merged with Kojimachi to form the modern Chiyoda.

The Kanda Matsuri is the festival of the Kanda Myojin Shrine which enshrines three deities: Daikokuten, the god of good harvest and matrimony; Ebisu, the god of fishermen and businessmen; and Taira Masakado, a rebellious feudal lord of the 10th century who was revered and deified.
