Roger Keith Barrett, dit Syd Barrett, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète britannique né le 6 janvier 1946 à Cambridge où il est mort le 7 juillet 2006. Il est le cofondateur et le leader du groupe Pink Floyd de ses débuts à son éviction en 1968.
Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett (6 January 1946 – 7 July 2006) was an English singer, guitarist and songwriter who co-founded the rock band Pink Floyd in 1965. Barrett was the band's original frontman and primary songwriter, known for his whimsical style of psychedelia, English-accented singing, and stream-of-consciousness writing style.

Roger “Syd” Barrett died of pancreatic cancer on 7 July 2006 at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, but his legacy lives on in the acknowledgement of his increasing influence over scores of musicians.
