Fazıl Say (prononcé [fa:.z ɯ l saj] ), est un pianiste et compositeur turc né le 14 janvier 1970 à Ankara . Biographie. Fazıl Say voit le jour le 14 janvier 1970 à Ankara, la capitale de la Turquie, dans la région de l’Anatolie centrale. Son père, Ahmet Say, était écrivain et musicologue. Sa mère, Gürgün Say, quant à elle était pharmacienne .
At the age of three, Say started his piano lessons under the tutelage of pianist Mithat Fenmen. Say wrote his first piece – a piano sonata – in 1984, at the age of fourteen, when he was a student at the Conservatory of his home town Ankara.
