La BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage célèbre ces caractéristiques, mais sans les copier : la ligne allongée est mise en valeur par des déflecteurs d’air, de puissants passages de roues et des spoilers sur le toit et le coffre. Des petites caméras rétroviseurs servent à réduire la traînée aérodynamique.
