To get your IEC work permit . You must show your POE letter of introduction and other supporting documents to a Canadian border services officer at the port of entry (airport, land border) on or before the expiry date of your letter. The expiry date will be clearly marked on your letter.

If your country has an agreement with Canada, you should then create your IEC Kompass account online. Next, submit the required documents (including your job offer letter) via Kompass. If you are eligible for IEC, the online system will issue you an IEC Acceptance Letter.
10 nov. 2013 · I applied for my application fee refund initially in March, after being told by IEC that I was eligible for one. Since then I have sent numerous messages to the IEC via Kompass (honestly probably about 15 messages, since most of them don't get replied to so I have to repeat them again) asking for the whereabouts of this refund.
