Elton Tyron Brand (born March 11, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player and the general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Elton Brand is a former power forward and center who played 17 seasons in the NBA. He was the first overall pick in the 1999 draft, won the Rookie of the Year and the Sportsmanship Award, and made two All-Star teams.
