The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) has been serving students in the capital region of Canada for over one hundred years. We provide international students with the opportunity to choose an educational path that best suits their interests and goals.
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is the largest school board in Ottawa and offers students and parents a world of choice for education, growth, and achievement.
The Board of Trustees is the final decision-making body for the school district. Board and Committee meetings are public meetings and the public is welcome to attend. The only exception is meetings which are closed or “in camera” because of the sensitive nature of the item under discussion.

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario, serving students within the City of Ottawa, covering an area of 3,760 km 2 (1,450 sq mi). The OCDSB is the seventh largest district by school population in the province of Ontario.
The Programme provides an internationally accepted qualification for entry into higher education and is recognized by colleges and universities worldwide. In the OCDSB, students engage in the OCDSB’s pre-IBDP during grades 9 and 10 to prepare them for the challenge of the two-year Diploma Programme in grades 11 and 12.
