The following is the discography of Pantera, an American heavy metal band. Pantera formed in the early 1980s and released four studio albums in their early years through its own record label, Metal Magic Records.
Pantera est un groupe de groove metal américain, originaire d'Arlington, Texas. Il est initialement fondé en 1981 par les frères Abbott, le guitariste Dimebag Darrell et le batteur Vinnie Paul [ 3 ] et dissout en 2003 .
Pantera released 4 albums in the 80's (the last one, "Power Metal" from 1988 features new vocalist, Phil Anselmo). Their early work did not achieve commercial success. In 1990 Pantera released their commercial debut album "Cowboys from Hell".
Creators of the "Power Groove", Pantera flew the flag for heavy metal in the 90's compiling a long list of gold and platinum album and home video releases, along with sold out arena tours across the globe.
