Morten Peter Meldal (born 16 January 1954) is a Danish chemist and Nobel laureate. He is a professor of chemistry at the University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is best known for developing the CuAAC-click reaction, concurrently with but independent of Valery V. Fokin and K. Barry Sharpless.

Morten Meldal is a Danish chemist who developed click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry. He received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2022 for his contributions to molecular building blocks and their applications in various fields.
Morten Meldal is a professor of chemical biology and the head of the Center of Evolutionary Chemical Biology at the University of Copenhagen. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2022 for his contributions to combinatorial chemistry and click chemistry.
