Nicolai Hartmann est un philosophe et professeur de philosophie allemand, né à Rīga, alors dans le gouvernement de Livonie appartenant à l'Empire russe (aujourd'hui en Lettonie), le 20 février 1882 et mort à Göttingen en Allemagne, le 9 octobre 1950.
