Theodore Eliot Deutch (/ d ɔɪ tʃ / DOYTCH; born May 7, 1966) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the U.S. representative from Florida's 22nd congressional district from 2010 to 2022.
Ted Deutch is the chief executive officer of American Jewish Committee (AJC) since 2022. He is a longtime Jewish and pro-Israel activist who served in the U.S. House of Representatives for 12 years, where he chaired the Middle East subcommittee and co-led the task force for combating antisemitism.
