Gambler's Farewell (Japanese: 博徒解散式, Hepburn: Bakuto kaisanshiki) is a 1968 yakuza film directed by Kinji Fukasaku starring Koji Tsuruta. It is the sixth film in the Bakuto (Gambler) series of films produced by Toei Studios.
In October 1964, a policy was passed to eliminate organised crime, trying to force the yakuza into reinventing themselves as “legitimate businesses”. A few years later, the new police chief declares war on the Iwasaki family and a ports labor law gets enacted.
