Harlon T. Barnett (born January 2, 1967) is an American football coach and former player. He was the interim head coach at Michigan State University for most of the 2023 season.

Harlon Barnett is the associate head coach and co-defensive coordinator for Michigan State's secondary, where he mentors one of the top secondaries in the nation. He played and coached at MSU as a defensive back, earning All-American honors in 1989, and has coached seven NFL draft picks and three All-Americans.
