Le New College Worcester (ou NCW ; anciennement RNIB New College) est un pensionnat du secondaire pour élèves aveugles ou mal-voyants âgés de 11 à 19 ans. Sa capacité est d'environ 80 élèves. Cet établissement est situé dans la ville de Worcester , Angleterre.
New College Worcester (or NCW; formerly RNIB New College) is an independent boarding and day school for students, aged 11–19, who are blind or partially sighted. It caters for around 80 students. It is located in the city of Worcester, England .
New College Worcester provides: Academic focus for students with a vision impairment. Expert subject teachers qualified to teach the vision impaired. A ‘Waking Day’ curriculum – learning doesn’t stop at the end of the school day. An individualised approach for every student and very small class sizes.
NCW is a non-maintained special school for children and young people who are blind or vision impaired from all over the UK and abroad. It offers tailored education, extra curricular activities, independent living skills and outreach service to mainstream settings.
New College Worcester offers education, mobility and Independent Living Skills to blind and partially sighted students aged 11-19 years. The Barbara Ward Children's Foundation has supported the college with grants for Braille and IT equipment.
