Southside Johnny and Steven Van Zandt, the two prime movers behind the formation of the Jukes, began playing together in various bands during the early 1970s.
Steven Van Zandt, surnommé « Little Steven » ou « Miami Steve », né le 22 novembre 1950 à Winthrop, est un auteur-compositeur, guitariste, producteur et acteur américain. Il est connu comme guitariste régulier de Bruce Springsteen .
His recording career was re-launched with the album Better Days (1991), which featured production by Van Zandt, songs by Springsteen, and vocal performances from Van Zandt, Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.
