Corey Woods (born January 12, 1970), better known by his stage name Raekwon (/ r eɪ ˈ k w ɒ n /, ray-KWON), is an American rapper. He rose to prominence as a founding member of the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan , which achieved mainstream success following the release of their debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) , in 1993.
Raekwon was born on 12 January 1970 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for The Man with the Iron Fists (2012), Blade: Trinity (2004) and Nerve (2016).
