Johnny Shuggie Otis (born Johnny Alexander Veliotes Jr.; November 30, 1953) is an American singer-songwriter, recording artist, and multi-instrumentalist. Otis's composition "Strawberry Letter 23" as recorded by The Brothers Johnson topped the Billboard R&B chart and reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1977.
Shuggie Otis est un guitariste, chanteur, compositeur et producteur américain, notamment de rhythm and blues, né le 30 novembre 1953 à Los Angeles. Il est le fils du musicien, compositeur et chef d'orchestre américain Johnny Otis (1921-2012).
