John Rubinstein (born December 8, 1946) is an American actor, composer and director.
John Rubinstein est un acteur, compositeur et réalisateur américain né le 8 décembre 1946 à Los Angeles, Californie (États-Unis). Il est le dernier des quatre enfants d' Arthur Rubinstein (1887-1982) et Anelia Mlynarska (1908-2001).
John Rubinstein is a versatile performer who has appeared in Broadway, off-Broadway, regional, and film productions. He is best known for his roles in Pippin, Children of a Lesser God, Ragtime, and Wicked, and is the son of pianist Artur Rubinstein.
John L. Rubinstein is a Canada Research Chair in Electron Cryomicroscopy and a National Lecturer of Biophysical Society of Canada. He studies the structure and function of macromolecular assemblies using cryo-EM, image analysis, biochemistry and molecular genetics.
Dr. Rubinstein is a Senior Scientist in the Molecular Structure and Function Program at the Hospital for Sick Children, where he has worked since 2006. He is a Professor in the Departments of Medical Biophysics and Biochemistry at the University of Toronto, and a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Electron Cryomicroscopy.
