Antioch College is a private liberal arts college in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Founded in 1850 by the Christian Connection, the college began operating in 1852 as a non-sectarian institution; politician and education reformer Horace Mann was its first president. The college has been politically liberal and reformist since its inception.
26 juin 2024 · Since the college’s founding, its students and alumni have worked toward social and ecological justice. Our mission, to “win victories for humanity” is woven through our curriculum, into the fabric of campus life, and drives alumni engagement the world over.
Antioch is A College of Action. Antioch prepares students to live lives of intention. Students have agency to design their education, to own that education, to govern their college, to collaborate with their faculty, and extend their classroom learning into the real world.
