Horton High School sits on a 42-acre hillside site overlooking the Minas Basin and the farms and orchards of Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley. The 1000-student facility features leading-edge technology and has been called the “finest secondary school in the province and country.”
Horton High School is a public high school located in Wolfville Ridge, Nova Scotia, Canada. It succeeded Horton District High School (1959-1998). [1] As of 2024, the school principal is Jodye Routledge. [2] The athletic teams are the 'Griffins'.

Our school is rich in achievement and tradition. Since the first Horton public school opened its doors in 1959, it has had a reputation for high academic standards and outstanding achievement in extra-curricular activities.
Students going into grade ten at Horton will find a wide variety of courses offered at different levels of ability and interest. All of these courses will lead to a Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma.
